Parent Online Safety 2017

Tuesday 7th February 2017 was Internet Safety day. At Kinson Primary School we celebrated this day with a series of activities:

  • Parent Road Show 2:45-3:30 pm in the School Entrance with the Safe Schools Communities Police Team - please drop in.
  • Internet Safety comics (please see below) created by past pupils for you to share with them.
  • Talks to each class by the Safe School and Communities Police Team
  • Year 6 Presentation of the "ThinkuKnow" produced by CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) during the week.
  • An anonymous survey of Year 2 to 6 pupils during the week about their Internet use, to help us identify any issues from computer use that young people may be experiencing

To enable us to gather information about parents experience with IT Technology in your home and your thoughts on future uses of computers and other technology for study, work and play we are asking you to complete an anonymous online survey. This will help us to update our Computing Vision, the school's policy for embedding Computing and E-Safety within our curriculum.

Please could you take a small moment of your time to fill out the below anonymous survey.
